Family Bible Fellowship

 First Lady Florence V. Jones ministry experience began as the granddaughter of the late Rev. C.W. Washington and Lady Thelma Washington, former Pastor and First Lady of Antioch Baptist Church of San Jose, California. Under the watchful care of her mother and grandmother, Lady Jones was uniquely shaped for her place in the body of Christ.  At a young age she began her journey and utilized her gifts in the areas of ministering in music. At the tender age of 14, she became the youngest lead choir director for the Inspirational Choir and Ambassadors for Christ youth and young adult choir.  For many years she provided stability and direction for the Voices in Praise (V.I.P.) choir at Fremont Bible Fellowship.

In 1985 Rev. Horacio S. Jones and Florence V. Jones were married. In 1987 the Lord called these two young servants to begin a work in the Fremont area. Fremont Bible Fellowship was birthed in 1988 and these two became the Pastor and First Lady of this new congregation providing ministry to the Tri-City area. To their union, they have been blessed with 5 beautiful children and 1 granddaughter.   

Affectionately known as Lady J., God is elevating her anointing and ministry to new heights of responsibility and new levels of intimacy.  In 1997 under the unction of the Holy Spirit, First Lady Jones launched the Women, Worship and Word Ministry. The primary objective for this ministry is to I.M.P.AC.T. (Inspire, Mentor, Pray, Affirm, Consecrate and Teach) women the life changing principles revealed in the word of God. Over the years the following ministries have been launched under her direction and servant leadership:  Daughters of Zelophehad Newsletter, Mary & Martha Helps Ministry, New Birth/New Mothers, Wise Warriors/Missions Ministry, Set-Free Prison Ministry, Illumina/Hurting Women, Reach Out And Touch/Phone Ministry, Weekly Bible Studies, "Standing In The Gap?Ç¥ Quarterly Prayer Vigils, Women of Virtue / Young Women of Virtue (mentoring young girls) B.AG.S. Out-Reach Ministry, Kingdom Makers Bible Study, P.A.C.E. monthly Bible Study, and Raising the Standard Conference.  These ministries are implemented based upon need and the availability of willing volunteers. Various activities keep the women of F.B.F. on one accord and flowing in their spiritual gifts

As a Shepherdess, spiritual leader, teacher, facilitator, speaker and psalmist, First Lady Jones is extremely passionate about prayer, praise and worship.  Her greatest desire is to see God's people develop a relationship with Him, so they can be filled with the knowledge of His will, with all-spiritual wisdom and understanding.

Under First Lady Jones leadership and direction, the Lord has blessed this ministry to grow women spiritually by utilizing their gifts to propel them towards their purpose to serve others.  

With her infectious smile, words of encouragement and witty, outgoing personality, First Lady Jones goal in life is to stay in God's will and be the best wife, mother and spiritual daughter she can be. To date, First Lady Jones has completed her on-line studies at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she has earned a degree in Graphic Design. Using her gifts and new talents, she now serves faithfully on the church media team along with her husband, Pastor Horacio S. Jones. Together they share their passion for creating posters, fliers and videos to share with the body of Christ, community and abroad.  First Lady Florence Jones main focus is to bless the Lord at all times and point others in His direction so they too may experience His unconditional love and the Fruit of the Spirit found Galatians 5:23
